Thinking about various Religion
People should be caring and compassionate human being and not just for the sake of getting into Heaven. Which as we all know, doesn't exist yet, according to the Bible. So where are all those people who have passed over now? Supposedly waiting until Armageddon when the 'quick and the dead' will arise to be judged! But, where do Christians think these spirits are resting? In which realm? In limbo, amongst the murderers? I understand parents telling their children, when a person or animal they are close to dies, that they have gone to Heaven. It’s a bit like Santa Claus.

No-one really knows anything for sure. Our brains are not equipped to handle the real truth I guess. But as the Bible was accepted (by some) as being the word of God, why has there not been up to date Bibles? After all, if God spoke to Prophets then, why can't he speak to people now? Surely God must have something to say after all this time? So why no more Bibles? And why did it say at the end of the Bible, anyone adding to, or writing against it would be visited by the plague, pestilence and loads of other horrid things. The Bible is very open to misinterpretation, written by the equivalent of reporters. So as soon as people start quoting from there, instead of from how they feel inside, or from their own experiences,  I close my ears. I have questioned many priests on various religious topics, but they had no answers that I could accept.

I started re-writing the Bible, emphasising all the contradictions and aspects that would have made a God (as described therein) more like Saddam Hussein, Hitler and all the baddies wrapped together. Women are talked about as though they are the lowest of the lowly, and not worth much as people. I could find no publisher who would agree to publishing my version of the Bible, should I complete such a daunting task. Even though some publishers said they were not Christians, they were still afraid of the potential outcry. The Bible was meant to scare people into behaving in a certain way, and one of them was in NOT having an opinion of their own, but to have faith, which means not to question anything, but agree to it all! People should see within themselves to their own spirit, which is where a God spirit could reside. Conscience, compassion and empathy for each other is the only way. And, that does not mean going through the motions just to be 'saved' and go to a possible Heaven!

Churches are known to be the richest, and now own most of the property in the world. If their accrued money was used sensibly for ALL those who needed help, they would not have these riches and the poor would not be so.

Wicca, is the Pagan religion, which believes in God’s and Goddesses. They built their churches on the ley lines, and later the Christian churches followed suit by building on top of the pagan sites. Wicca is very back to nature, respecting trees, plants and the forces of weather, understanding renewal and death. It is a religion which has witches, healers, aroma therapists, and mediums. Some are all of these and there is a small minority who practise none of these aspects. Practising Wiccans are in contact with spiritual forces, and learn how to defend against spirits and even cleansing homes and areas, of ‘nuisance’ unwanted spirits. Some can even have some faith in the Christian religion, although it is not usually a very strong belief. But, Wiccans  know more about chakra’s, aura’s, meditation, tarot cards, runes, crystals, herbs, oils and candle magic, than people from other religions.

The only supposed true Christian religion is the Greek Orthodox version, it is what most if not all, modern Christian religions are based upon. Modern day Catholicism was created when the Romans plundered the Greek orthodox churches and brought the artefacts back to Rome. In other words the Vatican, the Pope and the Catholic religion started with plunderers and murderers. Half the world gets down on their hands and knees and believes in this distorted religion, as though it is the only way to truth and salvation. There is a strange well known and TRUE phenomenon, it is called the 'Pasha.' It is a yearly miracle that happens in Jerusalem at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Read about it yourself and draw your own conclusions. The URL is; http://www.orthodoxphotos.com/Orthodox_Miracles/Pascha_Holy_Light/index.shtml

The true Muslim religion advocates that all non-Muslims have three choices on earth. (A) They can convert you to their religion, or, (B) you can become a slave to them in servitude to atone for being a heathen. And, if you do not accept A or B, they have the right to kill you. No matter what anyone says, these are the basic concepts of Islam. They have a billion followers, which is just plain dangerous! And those are the people Bush is trying to bring democracy to in the Middle East. More than a thankless task, but an impossible one.

The Hindu's believe in multiple deities and accept other religions have their own as well. But, ultimately they believe there is only one way to the consummate truth. No matter what path is taken, you get ‘there‘ just the same. Buddhists are nearer to my belief, insomuch as karma makes more sense to me, and so do the Buddhists way of thinking. I love that they respect all life, even that of an insect. But, I am not too keen on all the meditating and controlling of the body to the degree of being able to sit in the snow naked for hours.

Some people need faith in being in touch with a higher being, as they do not have the faith within themselves to cope. The very traumatic life I have lived, taught me prayers are not answered. Survival for me was such a struggle. I had a very strict religious upbringing, and completely believed in Jesus. My mother was brought up in an Irish Convent and taught by Nuns. My father was taught by the strict Jesuit priests. Because of what I saw in the world and could not understand, I questioned my beliefs. I studied as much as possible, various religions, I asked questions of Pastors. No-one came near to answering my questions. Until I SAW a Holy vision! (And, I am prepared to go on a lie detector!) Because a few years earlier I had seen the absolute opposite of anything ‘Holy,’and that incident could have killed me. This latter Holy encounter was meant to even the balance up for me, so I was given this wonderful experience.
